Just bought a new Mirage Nanosat surround sound system and totally was losing sleep at how I would wire the rear speakers. Do not want it to look crappy and didn't want to have to pull the carpets and padding to lay wire. Also going through the ceiling or walls isnt an option. Found some microflat wire by acoustic research. My next issue. How do I snake it under the carpet. Found this tool and ordered it. For the price I wasnt expecting much. Got the tool and began using it. Had I know it would work so well and produce such amazing and accurate results I would have easily paid $100.00 for this device. It is HIGHLY undervalued if you ask me. Anyway this tool literally completed my new home theater and is totally amazing. For under carpet runs I would highly recommend this extremely helpful tool.
