It is a nicely designed chime unit, quite loud enough, and appears to be well made.
The problem that I have is with the remote pushbuttons. They are not waterproof, and not water resistant. There is a caution in the enclosed packaging that warns one not to install the button where it might receive direct rainfall. Well, that's what the outdoors and where I want to install the button is all about.

I bought this door chime for an elderly person who LIVES ALONE as an emergency alerter. I told her to give the chimer to the neighbor next door, and keep one switch at her bedside and the other switch at the bathroom or where is convenient when she needs immeidate help. In that way she can reach the neighbor ONLY when there is an emergency. she and her relatives welcome the idea very much.Customer Review: Junk

Agree with the other bad reviews for this product. The buttons stick, and it's very awkward to unstick them while the person who rang your doorbell waits, and the device is incredibly loud. Since having that thing go off while you're sleeping is terrible, mine sits on a bookshelf downstairs sandwiched between two books to muffle the noise while I shop around for something better.Customer Review: Wireless Door Chimes

This product is just what we were looking for. Right after I had installed them the Fed Ex driver stopped and
was looking for a neighbor and used the doorbell. I had to place it under the hand rail for our steps and my wife didn't think anyone would notice it there. Well I guess we were wrong. Very well pleased with the way they both work and the sound is loud. Howard WV

At first I loved this door bell. I loved the nice chime sounds. But after a month, the 3 C batteries in the main unit died, and I found that I pretty much have to replace the batteries almost every month, and we hardly use the door bell. I'm now looking for a unit that plugs into the wall, as having to buy batteries constantly for this unit makes it definitely NOT worth it.
