This was installed in five minutes. The hardest part was puting the batteries in the buttons. I recomended it to several people already. I told a woman that she could install it with no problems. Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R90O1OS9O0UNC Well, I've had this unit for almost 5 months It works great! It has multiple doorbell sounds. Batteries come with the remotes but not for the base unit which requires several C sized batteries.
This unit is LOUD so consider that before putting it in the living room or where you are close by. I put it in the kitchen cabinet and this helps muffle the sound a little so it's not so disturbing. However, I live in a small home. I would recommend this product to those looking for an easy replacement or addition to their doorbell. I would also recommend this product to anyone hard of hearing.

This doorbell is great. Shure beats having people beat up your house by knocking on anything around the door :) The batteries that go into each of the 2 buttons (included) are a bit tricky. They are color coded rather than having a bump on on end indicating that it's the positive end. It says to keep the buttons out of direct rain. Each of the 2 buttons can be set to have 2 different sounds. Some sounds are louder than others. The bell/ringer itself has an on/off switch. I just installed it & i'm waiting for someone to push my button(s) Nice doorbell at under $20.00 *****Customer Review: It *looks* like it would be good it it worked

This product looked great! Maybe it is if it works. But I could not get a peep out of mine. I tried new batteries, I tried changing the "house code" jumpers (which are teeny and about impossible to handle)and still could not get it to make a sound. This was before I even installed it, and had the chime and push buttons sitting side by side.
I've asked amazon for an exchange. Maybe if the new one works I'll have a better opinion - but getting a product that does not work leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
