This is a great product. I wasn't sure I would like it so I puschased only the two bulb package and we are completely satisfied. If they go on sale again I will purchase more. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a 3-way moneysaver. I hope Amazon has more soon. Everything I have purchased from Amazon has been great. I trust Amazon products.

These CFL bulbs are great for floor lamps where you can use a lamp shade of your choice to tone down the harsher light. However, even without the shade, the light is much better than your typical flurescent tubes, so it's a thumbs up for me. Also, the 3 way light does work well! The 6.5" is actually just short enough to fit in my lamps. I did have to bend the metal rod away to screw it in but once the bulb was screwed in, it fit and now it works like a charm.
I expected trouble but now that it's working, I can't be happier with them!

Have had to take back two of these bulbs -- the first one made a popping sound a few days after placement and went out on all three settings, the other only worked on the middle setting. BIG BULB!
This one will last me more than the 6 years they say it will last..Can't use it, yet.
The bulb is too big, for the harp on the lamp.
It's going to have to wait, until after the holidays, for me to get a new harp.
