Tools and Hardware Reviews of GE 50723 LED Motion Sensing Night LightCustomer Review: Caution gets very hot! Summary: 4 Stars
I took off one star because these nightlights are not vented very well and I noticed that the one I have in a high traffic area of the house gets fairly hot in the back if it has been on and off a lot in a short time. You don't notice the heat unless you unplug it and feel the back of the nightlight like I did when I was switching it to another location.
Despite this problem I still really like the nightlight, it gives off a lot of light and stays on long enough for you to get through the area before it turns off again.
Customer Review: Totally disappointed Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this after reading many reviews and got it from one of the vendor in NYC from Amazon. The first one was totally not working and I contacted the seller for an exchange. Of course, I paid extra shipment for the return. After more than a week (I live in NYC and the first one only took 3 days). It lasted for only two days and went dead. I did not want to bother myself and just threw it away. I order another product from internet; Mr. Beams motion sendor light and this product is excellent and I would recommond it to my frieds.
Customer Review: GE 50723 Motion Sensor Night Lite Summary: 5 Stars
This light is by far the best sensor motion night lite I've ever used (and I've used several). I already had a couple from several years back, but couldn't find additional ones in the stores. So glad I found them on Amazon! What makes these lights great is that 1)they put out a good amount of light 2)the sensor field is about 180 degrees, so they pick up movement before you are standing directly in front of the light. Terrific product. If I find any other place that needs another light, I'll definitely order more.
Customer Review: Better Than Nothing Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this motion-activated night light to keep from triping over the cat in the middle of the night. I wish I could recommend it but the bulb doesn't put out enough light to make it really useful. It puts out a small arc of diffused light about 15 inches. The motion activated feature is a little slow to activate, so I find myself half-way across the room when it comes on. Plus, the light stays on too long for me (90+ seconds). This light is better than nothing, but keep looking for the perfect night light.
Customer Review: Night Light Works Summary: 5 Stars
Not much to say about a product that works as described. I get out of the bed at night and start walking toward the bathroom - the light shows me what's on the floor. I get into the bathroom - another light awakens and stays on for me. As I walk toward the bed the first light that had stayed on for 90 seconds turns back on for me to get into bed. I'm in bed - 90 seconds later -bink!! Lights out and all's well. I have them in each room in the house in case I want to "stroll" at night as well. Love them.
