I bought six lights and placed them in different parts of my home for safe walking. They give off enough lite I never turn the lights on anymore unless I plan to spend time in the room, they all work great and last for about 30 seconds when they come on none have failed to work at any time and I plan to buy a couple more for the garage and front door so I don't have to leave a porch light burning while I am out. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great lite this is the one you want.Customer Review: Great Light

I have a dark hallway with no convenient way to illuminate it. I have tried several night lights as well as some battery powered light/motion detectors. I have never found a good combo until now. Actually, I have not found either an adequate light (brightness) or motion detector.
The GE light works like a charm with great 180 degree motion detection and despite being a low output LED light, it still gives enough output to do the job.
I highly recommend this product.

Not only does it have a light sensor, but it also has a motion sensor, which means that it turns itself on when it's dark and it senses movement, so that it doesn't stay on all night needlessly or annoyingly. It has a wide range of motion sense and stays on for just the right amount of time to get you where you're going. Granted, you need to find just the right spot for it, but in the hallway at the top of our stairs and right outside our bedroom it is absolutely perfect for us.Customer Review: Nice night light

I got this light because my old dog needs to find her bed on the way back from doggie-door trips outside in the middle of the night.
Before, it was either have a light shine all night, or have no light at all and my dog wanders around bumping walls and doors and getting stuck in corners because she can't see her bed.
This light works very nicely and stays on just long enough for everyone to be happy.
I hope it lasts a long, long time.

1st one was defective. Amazon sent a replacement super quick, so I have no complaints there. We have an elderly dog whose eyesight is not what it used to be and he misjudges stairs and falls. We placed this night light near the stairs and it's very helpful. Motion detector works great because the light comes on quickly. The only drawback is that the light is supposed to go off after 90 seconds without motion detected, but you can't count on that.
