Tools and Hardware Reviews of GE 50723 LED Motion Sensing Night LightCustomer Review: Neatest little motion nightlite sensor. Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second sensor-same one. The first one I accidently broke-my bad-after accidently smashing it with a power chair. I love these little lights-I don't have to find a lamp or try to find the light switch at night running around the house; besides, they save a ton of money, plus, when I get back to bed, I can get back to sleep faster because the light they give out is not too bright-there's just enough light to get around and get back to bed.
Customer Review: Sensor does not work Summary: 1 Stars
I bought one of these after reading all the great reviews. I was very disappointed after receiving the product. I found it did not come on consistently even if you were standing right in front of the light. Many times the only way I could get the light to come on was to touch the unit. Then at other times I would find it on when no one has been near it. Needless to say I returned it to Amazon. Thank goodness for their nice return policy.
Customer Review: Awesome light when you get one that works Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered two of these two test out the idea of installing motion activated lights in some remote areas of the house. The one that did work was GREAT, everything I dreamed for. One of them was less than awesome, but Amazon rushed me a replacement for it and even had the dud picked up. Aside from some quality control issues (which aren't so much of a big deal when you're getting a free replacement) an excellent value. Will buy again.
Customer Review: Perfection Summary: 5 Stars
Sometimes a manufacture just gets it right - this is one of those cases. The time the light stays on is perfect; the illumination level is perfect; the light angle, the non-polarized plug (so the light can be used upside down), the motion sensing, the ambient light sensing - all perfect. And that it is an LED I have little concern with it sucking electricity. I have had this product for 2 months now and couldn't be happier with it.
Customer Review: Horizontal or Upright Socket makes a difference Summary: 4 Stars
Great item. Only draw back is that upright is the best position. I needed this as a hallway light. The light socket on the hallway is position like this (==) so when I plug this light in, it's horizontal (not upright like the picture). The problem with this is that when it is horizontal, it can only detect motion from 1 direction as opposed to both directions if the light was upright (the round ball is motion detector).
