I rate this only a 4 **** as one of the window alarm worked properly for just 1 day then would constantly alarm until I just discarded it. Overall, a good buy but would only use for samll spaces such as an apartment, then the alarm would be heard, otherwise as a house alarm the sound would not be loud enough to be heard.Customer Review: This is a piece of crap

I bought this package hoping it would work so I wouldn't have to spend money on a monthly home security system like ADT and Brinks. I can say that the window alarms are very usefull but the door alarm is not. The door alarm after 3 months went out and you have to purchase another because there is no warranty on them.Customer Review: Window alarms not very useful.

The window alarms turn off when the window is closed again. Also they are not very loud, and not integrated with the door alarm.
The alarm delay is too long. It would be easy to take the batteries out of the alarm in that time.
However, this alarm system is a good deal for that price.

the door alarm unit is extremely loud (120db)! it's easy to install and takes no more than 15 min. i usually set it to Alarm+Away mode and turn it on whenever i leave home by keying in the 4-digit code. Recommend for those who needs a simple alarm system and wish to save for the wiring and hacking works.Customer Review: Great little alarm

I feel much safer having this alarm system. I have a two story home with all the bedrooms upstairs. I mounted these alarms on the doors and windows downstairs. If the very loud alarms don't scare someone off, they will at least alert me to an intruder before they can make it up the stairs.
