My Timex Indiglow travel alarm finally died, so I bought this Elgin clock
SPECIFICALLY because it had the blue light feature. I need to be able to hit the sleep-button and see the time at night. Right out of the box, everything worked EXCEPT the blue light.
I will be returning it for a refund. Amazon is great! Crap made in China isn't!!

The feature I haven't seen mentioned, that I love the most, is that when the alarm goes off, it lights up in red. So it's easy to find the clock in the dark to either hit snooze or shut off the alarm. With other alarms, I was always trying to find them in the dark, knocking them onto the floor, and being totally frustrated. But not with the Elgin.Customer Review: 4 minute snooze & more

I didn't see this anywhere before I bought this item, but it only snoozes for 4 minutes. It has an annoying alarm that is sure to wake and irritate you and when you press snooze (or turn on the night light) it emits a high pitch whine that is sure to drive away dogs. It has a single alarm that is easy to set. It is small and folds up for travel.Customer Review: Good little alarm clock.

For the price, it would be hard to find a better alarm clock. It's marketed as a travel alarm clock, but I use it on my bedside table every night. The light makes the LCD hard to read unless you're at the right angle, which prevents this clock from getting five stars, but it's so light, you can just pick it up and look at it when you want to.Customer Review: So pleased!

Excellent travel clock - compact, easy to use and set up, no overwhelming bells and whistles to deal with. Loud alarm to get you up without giving you a morning heart attack. Indiglo is useful and turns off quickly so as not to disturb sleep. I loved it so much, I bought another one and use it as a daily alarm clock. Highly recommended.
