This is a great device for the elderly because they can find it stays in one location. It also provides light during a power failure so a hallway near the bedrooms is a good location. I just bought a 2nd one as the rechargeable battery lasts about 5-6 years.

This flashlight had been plugged in for three years, and didn't work last week in a power failure when we needed it. Candles did not fail, though. We stocked up on more flashlights for any other blackouts this winter.Customer Review: Very Unreliable

This flash light isvery useful as it turns on when there is a power failure. We don't have to go in search of a flash light, as this turns on by itself and we do not bump into walls searching for a flash light.
