I live in deeply wooded rural Georgia; these GE 49895's have done an excellent job of providing perimeter lighting without attracting significant numbers of insects. 9-years ago I replaced eight (8) 90-watt spots with these 11-watter's and they've be on almost 24-hrs/day. Re-purchasing now for the few that finally burned-out. NOTE: These bulbs fit especially well in deep-well spotlight sockets, where wider-base fluorescents don't seat.
