Tools and Hardware Reviews of Genie GICT390-1BL One-Button Remote Control with Intellicode

Customer Review: Genie GICT390-1BL One-Button Remote Control with Intellicode
Summary: 5 Stars

This compact version of the Genie rolling code remote comes with a reversible belt clip that allows you to cover the actuating button when it is in your pocket or purse. The unit programs very easily and has a loop for attachment of other items you may want to group with the remote. The remotes' smaller size is handy for reducing the bulk of necessary carries. Highly recommended!

Customer Review: Decent product.
Summary: 4 Stars

Decent product. I keep it in my key chain. Small product but rather big for a key chain and bulges in my pocket. I've walked though rain with it and has been treating it roughly but it has held up pretty well. Only downside it is the button is rather prominent and can get accidentally pressed when in pocket. If you don't keep it in your pocket that may be a pro.

Customer Review: A Little Sensitive
Summary: 4 Stars

I was looking for something small and this fits the bill. It is very easy to program, and very easy to use. My suggestion would be not to keep it somewhere easy to accidently hit as it is very sensitive. I'll open the door then, just by putting this in a pocket, it's enough pressure to stop the process. With that in mind I would still recommend this.

Customer Review: Great replacement for lost remote
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband lost his garage remote at a wilderness lodge somewhere in the middle of a field of wild bison. We replaced it with this one and it's a perfect replacement. Instructions included with the remote were clear on how to program it - and how to clear codes on the base so the wild bison can't break into our home should they find the old remote.

Customer Review: I like it and I have a 1996 Genie Opener with Intellicode
Summary: 5 Stars

Just like other reviews, it took me less than 1 minute to set up it. It's cheaper than buying a unit from Home Depot. However it's not true that your opener with Intellicode has be manufactured after 1997. Mine is 1996 and it works. Before I ordered it, I checked with Genie customer service via email and they told that it would work.
