My previous Genie Garage Door Opener wore out and would not fuction even with a new battery. I have the rotating screw drive as part of my opener. After programming the new remote (sometimes called learning mode) it actually worked better than the original. I can open the door from a further distance than the one which came with the door system. If you want a smaller remote controller, this is the one, Remote control is small enough to install on the side of the vehicle, remote is easy to program and it works great for my two garage door openers, i'd been using it everyday for few months now, it worked better than the original Genie that came with the openers. If you want a smaller remote, i would recommend this small Genie version.Customer Review: Time will tell...

In the ten years since I bought my new house, I've had to replace the garage remotes a number of times. They have all eventually quit working. I saw this unit which is a different model than the ones that have failed in the past and I thought I'd give it a try. The center Button would operate the door. But I have twin doors, and the outer buttons would not function with my doors. Kind of pointless if you ask me. Why put the other two buttons if they don't work? Every bit of documentation says it should work but alas, it does not.Customer Review: good for money

Remote works OK. No problems with programming. Note that push-button is very sensitive and not protected from accidental activation. If you keep your keys in the pocket it may cause a problem. Other than that it is good gadget.
