This is the third time we've had to replace the garage door opener. After the first time it broke, Genie sent us a replacement and all we had to pay was the shipping. Had trouble locating a replacement remote control locally. Found a vendor through Amazon that had them in stock so I placed the order and hoped for the best. The Genie works well with my Overhead Door system. The batteries died after just a few weeks, but were easily replaced at a fairly low cost. Would have been happier to have received the product without batteries rather than have almost dead batteries included.Customer Review: So so...

This remote is too big to be used on a key chain, and too small to leave in the car. But the worse part of it is the vague feel of the buttons. There is no click or any positive feel when the button is pushed. It does open and close the garage door though.
