I picked this Gerber up the other day and have been very impressed. I used to have the Leatherman Ultra tool and it was great for years but after losing it, I went to get another Leatherman and saw this Gerber for substantially less money. I gave it a shot have have been impressed. I am glad that Gerber has refreshed their design in the past years. I remember their old spring-loaded models back when I was in the Army in the 90s and they were always breaking or getting clogged with mud, etc. This is a nice design and for under $30, you can't beat it.Customer Review: Great Multi Tool

This multi tool wont wow you with any new features, but its a very sturdy and well made tool. The main knife certainly leaves a bit to be desired, but it works just fine for me at work to open boxes occasionally. I like the spring pliers, my last Leatherman didnt have that feature. Also, the design is pretty cool looking. The phillips head screw driver is a little cheesy, but i only needed a #2 for the most part, and this works great for that size.
Overall a well made multi tool with all of the most used and important tools I need.

I have had this tool three months. I dropped it onto concrete from a height of 4 inches while working. One of the blade bolts just sheared right off. This is mindblowingly poor quality. Gerber, you have no right to call any of your products "legendary" and you shouldn't be selling them to the military. I hope none of our servicemen put their lives at risk using the substandard garbage that you sell. I will never buy your products again and will do everything in my power to direct potential customers in another direction.Customer Review: CHEAPER TO GET @WALMART!

I got my Gerber Suspension exactly as this one at Walmart for just 24.99 plus Texas Tax. So now I am convinced Amazon is jacking up the price to provoke you into buying it here. Look around sometimes to check if Amazon's price is acceptable or not. THE TOOL is very dependable though. Had it since 2008 and works when you need it. The tool itself is "5-stars" rating for me, but buying it at Amazon, with a crossed-out list price of 49.32 ??? Gotta be kidding me! Easy to handle than letterman. Go for easy fix that is what these products are suppose to do but for bigger jobs don't be lazy go to you tool box and get better tools. But again this product is good N light weight. Letherman and the other wEIGHTS more. The nylon sheet is great it can go horizontal to the waist or belt making a low profile, I do not recommend getting the exteNsions the bits for this product. Over all it is a good product. An alternative to letherman / sog. KINDA GLOCK VS XD.
