Man, I loved this thing until stupid Polish Airlines bastards took it away from me. After that I felt lost. Only bad thing I can say about it is that when it's in wrench form, the head wiggles from side to side a little. I never found the need to use it one handed. It didn't really work anyway, always got stuck sliding it in and out. I need to get a replacement soon.Customer Review: survival in the wilderness

This is a must have for any survival kit. I take it everytime I go into the woods. Along with a small survival pack, a survival knife ( Gerber LMF 11), and some training, anyone should be able to survive in the woods until a rescue team can find you. Having owned the same Gerber Multi-plier for over 15 years, I was devastated when, while working in an attic, I lost my Gerber in 2' thick insulation and couldn't find it. I walked around feeling naked for about a month, since I always had it with me. I finally could bear it no more and ordered this Pro Scout. This is my second Gerber multi-tool, lost the first one after 10 years of service and I felt naked without it. I have got the Leatherman but don't like it because the blades are in the outside when unfolded, I have pinched blood blisters on my hands with that thing. The Gerber's blades are on the inside of the handle so you don't pinch your hands when using.Customer Review: Once again, another excelent product from Gerber

Just get it, don't bother looking for anything else. It has everything you could possibly need. Safety mechanisms are excelent as is the quality of the steel.
