Designed for the user who needs extreme wire cutting ability, quick access to the components, spring loaded pliers handles, and a secure comfortable grip, the Legend from Gerber is for you. The Gerber Legend is the first multi-function tool with replaceable tungsten/cobalt carbide wire cutter inserts. Much harder than any stainless steel, the Legend wire cutter will cut through no. 2 hard carbon steel fishhooks, 1/16-inch piano wire, and 278-pound stainless-steel offshore fishing leader. And, in the event of damage, the triangular cutter can be rotated to a new edge with a Torx head wrench. There are 12 tools including the needle-nose pliers, wire cutter with replacement blade, crimper, full size combo edge and serrated drop point knife blade, scissors, can opener, hack saw, and Phillips, small, medium, and large screwdrivers.We think they call it "Legend" for good reason: You'd be hard pressed to pack this many tools into the space that the Gerber Legend takes up. Inside this impressive little package, you'll have access to no fewer than 12 tools, including tungsten carbide-steel blades. All the hardware is stainless steel, mounted on a nickel-coated die-cast aluminum handle set that feels like it was made for your hand. The zirconium nitride hard wire cutter insert has three edges, and it's replaceable, so you'll never be without a laser-sharp edge. The Legend includes the wire cutter, a combination edge and serrated drop-point knife blade, scissors, can opener, hack saw, Phillips, small, medium, and large screwdrivers.
