I bought the two I needed because of the sale price. The best thing is the brass hardware which is less popular these days. This is more light brown walnut stained than oak as it appears in the photo but it is better value for me to get brass fittings, wood and an excellent price than to match my cabinetry. I'm very happy. Thank you, Amazon.
The plastic nuts for the metal screws are extremely fragile for a heavy seat. If the hardware on your older seat are more durable, use them instead of the plastic nuts.

Do not buy this item ( Ginsey Deluxe toilet Seat ). It is of poor quality in workmanship and material. I purchased two. The seat split on the first one 2 days after installation. When I opened container of second one the lid was cracked in two pieces. Took seat from one and lid from other so as to make one until I could purchase a product of better quality. What can you say about a toilet seat? This one is just fine .. very reasonably priced and it fits in with my decor. The only problem is with a potential for rust on the exposed metal parts .. I just wiped mine down with Three in One oil to try to prevent that.

THE hinges were of very poor quality .... seat could not be lined up with toilet(causing constant shifting) ..... after only two weeks in use and much slipping .... had to be replaced ... the only thing that got sucessfully flushed involving this seat was my 30 bucks !!Customer Review: Better than braving the crowds at your local home improvement center, shop Amazon!

I knew what I wanted. I knew what I was willing to pay. And I don't like crowds. So I ordered this toilet seat cover from Amazon - with a nice brass hinge, and .... it was perfect. What an easy way to get what you want delivered!!!
