I bought these for my husband as a birthday gift- he's a huge cyclist and quite the handy-man around the house, so he owns a ton of tools & is often working on the 5 bikes we own in the garage. He LOVES the gladiator products. We got 1 set of the panels up in the garage. We also have a lot of the other gladiator products: clean up caddy, project caddy, the small bins, the loop hooks & the L hooks.
3 reasons I give it 4 stars (instead of 5):
1. Very costly to ship- I actually opted to drive an hour to Conyers, GA to pick them up because the shipping was far more expensive than the cost of gas for me.
2. They are a bit of a pain to install. We had a 3-man team to install these suckers up on the wall (there is no way to do it yourself, they are pretty heavy). We had a few screws strip pretty bad trying to get the panels up- and we used the recommended gladiator brand screws.(this could be the fault of our walls/studs vs. the panels though).
3. The panels & accessories are a bit pricey. Although they are, they have proven to be very solid products that are holding up well. We are very pleased with our purchase & will be purchasing another set of panels soon.
Overall, it is a very solid product and it looks a lot better than a cheap peg-board. If you spend a lot of time in the garage or need a good organization system, I would highly recommend this product!

I purchased gear wall and gear track panels for my husband on his birthday. I also purchased the accessory kit, several cabinets and additional accessories. While my husband is normally very organized, I think he discovered the true meaning of the word with the installation of this amazing product line. The ability to organize, reorganize, add, change your mind is actually a woman's dream come true! Our garage is not only organized, the transformation in appearance is remarkable. Makes the garage look GREAT! Amazon had a very good price and deliver was fast. I have an old bare stud 50+ year old dettached garage. Use of the panels save time (no sheathing or paint required) and seems to add a lot of structural strength.
While expensive you can save $s by using less expensive paneling above or below area of interest. I used a pre-painted paneling from the floor to 4' above the flor then used the Gearwall from the 4' mark to the ceiling.
While a bit pricey, I'd do it again even in this economy!

I was actually able to install this to my garage wall by myself. It's a real good product. I've hung the gearwall cabinet, shelf and accessories to it so far. It's sturdy, and looks good. Keeps things hung in line and you're able to slide your shelf or other accessories with ease. When it arrived from Amazon, one of the boxes had a chip on the corner, and the gearwall had a chip on the corner. I just used that piece on the bottom where I wouldn't notice the chip.Customer Review: Garage Works panels

Solid, functional, and even easy on the eye. Paneled one full side of the garage to hold fishing rods, hockey gear, bolts/screws, chairs, and anything else you can think of. Be sure you have wood studs in the wall to be used, or you'll end up doing 5 times the work screwing into aluminum studs (no recommended, but I did it and it's holding a lot of weight). We love the room this unit gives us.
