I bought three of these light bulbs in the hopes of replacing my 3-way incandescent bulbs. I tried the bulbs in three different floor lamps and none of them worked. In some of the floor lamps the bulbs would only work on the middle setting, and in the other lamps the bulbs would light up for a second and then turn off. Five minutes after opening the box from Amazon I was filling out the return form. Do not buy these bulbs!Customer Review: Buy Sylvania, not great but better

Sylvania's 3 way is really not very good. Glob is worthless and I got 4. They are yellow (er than other compact fluorescents) and there are in fact a 2.5 way. There is very little difference between the middle and the high, which is about equil to a 75 watt light bulb. The Sylvania hits 100 watts of brightness and isn't as yellow. Glob is cheeper and not worth it.Customer Review: Lasted less than 2 months!

These bulbs are dimmer than most CFLs, are slow to turn on, and after less than 2 months they made lots of noise and stopped working on all 3 settings. I have other CFLs that have lasted years. These are horrible. Do not buy this brand!Customer Review: 3 way that is really a 2 way

I am switching my whole house over to CF Bulbs. All I have left are 3 way and dimmable.
These are essentially 2 way bulbs, so if you really are looking for the 50/100/150, this isn't it.
It's a fine 2 way bulb.

For some reason, this bulb was packaged in a snug-fitting thin cardboard carton which offered virtually no protection against breakage. I got a refund, but that hassle could have been avoided if they'd packaged it better.
