Tools and Hardware Reviews of Globe 48526 23-Watt Mini Compact Fluorescent Spiral Bulb (100-Watt Incandescent Equivalent), Soft White, 4 PackCustomer Review: The bulb is good. Summary: 5 Stars
The bulbs are fine. But they are not packed properly. They are loose in a box with inflated plastic packets, so they are touching each other. Then packed in a larger box. One of the bulbs was broken. Amazon replaced it with no problem.
Customer Review: Misleading name Summary: 2 Stars
These are physically much bigger than their 60W bretheren so don't know why they're "mini compact".
"supersized monster" bulb would have been more accurate.
Works fine but sticks about an inch out of my vertical light fixture
Customer Review: Initial expense, but worth the buy. Summary: 5 Stars
It cost around $250 to replace the lights in my 2000 sq ft house. The light is at least as bright, if not brighter, than the old light bulbs. Here in expesnive Southern California, the savings will be worth it.
Customer Review: Bright Summary: 4 Stars
These are oversized light bulbs as compared to normal, but they are not monster size or anything. They are also brighter than the average spiral bulb. Price is pretty good. The part that you screw in the lamp is normal sized.
Customer Review: Same Brightness Summary: 5 Stars
Globe fluorescent spiral bulbs yield the same brightness as ordinary 100 watt bulbs. The light from these energy saving bulbs is nice and bright, and I like the fact that they last a lot longer than ordinary bulbs.
