This is an inexpensive light and I got the quality that I expected. I agree with the other reviewers on the switch location, but on my desk, it works. It is a very bright light, so don't buy if you want something that could bounce off a computer screen.Customer Review: why would you buy this???

By buying this lamp, you are locking yourself into buying an uncommon and expensive bulb. Just buy a regular lamp with a screw-type bulb and you can put the cheap cfls in there instead of some crappy $15 cfl (which this lamp requires).

Nothings special, just a plain desk lamp. It comes with one bulb. I took off one star because the light switch is about one foot down the electrical cord, which means if you put the lamp at the edge of your desk the switch is dangling off the side.Customer Review: Do not buy this lamp
