A friend recommended the rope lights purchased through Amazon. The cost is a real value compared to our local hardware and Home Depot. Could easily track the package, the product arrived even earlier than the expected date, and was extremely satisfied when it arrived. I use these rope lights to illuminate hard to reach shelving in my garage--it lights great and is a relatively inexpensive solution...i use mine only indoors. Out of four long light ropes, a few lights in a single rope stopped working the first day. I have used them for more than a month now, and they others are all fine...Customer Review: Works Well

I purchased the light rope and it works well. It is one full-length 48' strand. The great thing is that I put it on a dimmer and it really fits well with the room. Processing time could have been a little faster being that I opted for the faster shipping method, but it probably wasn't necessary. A good product though.Customer Review: Outdoor lights

Our lights were defective (about 2 feet didn't light up) so we returned them to Amazon and reordered the same item. We have not received the replacement but the look was great and we loved the fact that the rope was long enough to prevent having to add extentions. This is an incandesecent rope light - NOT LED. Although the description doesn't claim it is an LED rope light - this was one of the top returns when I searched for LED ROPE LIGHT. That means the light is amber colored and it will get warmer and take more power than an equivilent LED rope light.
