I recently puchased one of these 50' hoses for my new DeWalt twin tank air compressor. This is by far the best 50' hose on the market today without question. It remains totally flexible in cold temperatures unlike those vinyl coiled hoses on the market. It also lays flat when in use and does not coil up in places. You don't have to worry about tripping over this hose. The couplings at each end of the hose are very high quality and the yellow color is very noticeable to keep others from snagging the hose and tripping on it. The 50' lenght is perfect to allow you to move about freely and not relocate your compressor often. This is a great product and the price is right. Get one of these. Our crew used this hose... it didn't even last through the day. A board was dropped on it and Pssssss we had a leak. I thought it may have been an aberation, but after it was fixed and it happened again within 3 hours and another leak is Pssssssing all over the place I would chaulk it up to the hose. For those of you who may want to know..... I am a contractor, my crew averages 15 years of experience and we are running 5 other hoses. Two of those hoses are over 15 years old and have not met with a fate like this one. We went with this one thinking it was rubber and would be like the other two..... sadly it is not the case. This is the best hose I ever had. Its taken a beating on top of roofs and all around in the dirt aoutside and in the house its taken all the pain of knockdown and paint. I put on some quick connects and disconnects so its easily hooked up to my equipment. One day I had the compressor in the garage while I was putting on some trim. It was windy and the door kept opening and closing. by the end of the day I had not realized the damage the door had done to the hose, but the hose withstood the beating. I have had this hose for 5 years now. I use it with a Porter-Cable finish nailer and for misc tasks like inflating car tires or using a air blowing nozzle. It is always flexible, even when the garage gets cold. It is a little scuffed up, but still works great and has not lost any of its flexibility. It is always easy to coil. Another advantage, this is cheaper than a long heavy duty extension cord for the compressor. It is also a lot easier to run a long hose than to keep moving the compressor around the house as I do projects. A longer hose keeps the compressor further away from you to keep the noise level down.Customer Review: Better than expected

There was some chatter that these were not genuine Goodyear hoses. Well, if they are not, then they are great imitations. The hose is made in the USA although I couldn't verify if the ends were assembled off-shore--it's strictly plain-jane wrapping. With some teflon tape and Milton type T connectors, I have absolutely no leaks and it is a joy to work with. I also like the yellow color (at least for now) because it seems to stand out so that my kids don't trip on it on the driveway while I'm working on my car. So far, it's an excellent purchase.
