Customer Review: More useful for carrying panels than gripping gorillas

I have to admit, I haven't tried this tool to see if it could effectively grip a gorilla, but I suspect they would be quite unhappy being squeezed between the plates. On the other hand, I bought this after I carried 43 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood up 11 feet to put in the subfloor of an addition. If my arms were just a little longer, I might have been able to handle the 4x8 sheets a little easier...

I have tried moving plywood and sheetrock with this tool and find it to be quite convenient. There is little chance that the sheet will slip out of the rubberized gripping plates. It is a lot easier being able to carry the sheet with one hand in a natural position, keeping the other hand free for other little things that might come up, like holding onto a ladder.
