I have used the Gorilla Gripper for a couple of weeks now. It make carrying sheet goods much easier. It grips very well when used as directed. Example: With a piece of sheet goods setting on the floor on the edge, place the gripper half way of the lenght, pick up as shown on the instructions and you can easly carry the piece with one hand. Money well spent, especially if you are working by yourself or carrying 3/4" sheet goods which are heavy.

The maker of this product missed the boat when they didn't include how handy it could be for people with horses who use rubber stall mats! Our horses always to manage to get their 4'x6'x1" rubber mats out of place. Those 100 pound mats are big, heavy and extrememly difficult to move around, even with 2 people. With this tool, just about anybody can move the mats all by themselves. I ordered 2 more so I could keep 2 in the barn and 1 in the garage.Customer Review: Got 4x8 sheets?

This is the perfect solution for anyone of average stature who needs to move 4x8 sheets of drywall, plywood, MDF, etc. From one place to another without assistance. Your back will thank you and you'll get the job done more quickly and with less (much less IMHO) effort and frustration. Just used mine to offload 22 sheets of 1/2" drywall, move them inside and stack them in the middle of my work area and Gorilla Gripper made the job almost a snap.Customer Review: Great way to carry sheets of plywood!

I only have one hand to carry plywood because I use a crutch to walk. This makes carrying sheets of plywood very problematic for me. This item makes carrying a sheet of plywood or MDF a LOT easier when you are working by yourself! I have used several different carrying methods and products and this is by far the best! I can carry a sheet of 3/4" plywood by myself, now!

Handling sheet-materials in my wood-shop has always been a struggle, and the Gorilla-Gripper has been a GREAT assist. I've been aware of this handy tool for some-time, but only recently purchased it to deal with sheets of MDF for an assembly-table project. Moving those "heavy" (and fragile) panels of 1/2" MDF would have been a two-man job, but with the Gorilla-Gripper - "no problem"! (Why did I wait?)
