The Grandrich ES-101N EZ Reader floor lamp simulates outdoor sunlight, which is balanced across the entire spectrum of color visible to the human eye. This is the clearest, brightest and most comfortable lighting you will ever use. This lamp helps reduce eye strain, provides more vivid colors and better contrast for reading, and creates sharp visibility for more detail. It is glare free making it ideal for computer use. The 10,000 hour bulb life lasts 6-10 times longer than standard bulbs and yet uses two-thirds less energy than an equivalent 100-watt incandescent bulb. The bulb will not hum or flicker and is a safe and cool alternative to incandescent and halogen bulbs. The lamp insures you will see more comfortably for reading, working, and all close up tasks and hobbies and can be placed on any work surface such as a desk, table, or workbench. It is computer gray in color and the on/off switch is conveniently located on the shade. It has earned the Energy Star certification.
