My wife and I each use one of these lamps at our computers. The light thrown by it is very easy on the eyes, and takes the strain out of reading and computer work. It does affect our mood in a positive way, too. It seems well built and has some weight to it. We have been using them for 5 or 6 weeks now.Customer Review: wonderful

My husband thinks this is too bright so he turns it to reflect off the wall and it makes a very soothing light in the room. I like the intense light for reading and it is wonderful. This lamp is wonderful. I bought it to use at my desk and work table when I am making beaded jewelry, and I use it every day for general lighting on my desk. The price was right, too-- and I know I can easily replace the bulb, which was a problem with another full spectrum light I had.Customer Review: Poor Quality

After unpacking and assembling lamp, I plugged it in and was very pleased with the quality of the spectrum of the light. The lamp worked for TWO MINUTES before it the bulb started flickering. The bulbs never went out completely but they just kept changing intensity. Very poor quality.Customer Review: What a dud! Don't buy this.

I was really disappointed in this lamp. I turned it on and it lasted for all of about 5 minutes before flickering off, never to turn on again. The light while it was on was very similar to fluorescent office light. I was really not impressed. Save your time and energy and stay away.
