It is a good product with a reasonable price (I paid $31.28). The actual height when put as the sample picture is around 14 inch, so it is good for a work desk. The cable length is about 6 feet so enough for normal use, while a previous comment complainted it was only 2.5 feet.Customer Review: D o Not Purchase This Dog!!!

I ordered the lamp and it arrived yesterday. It did or will not work. It blew out the Mercury Light Bulb. This morning I threw it in the garbage. Not worth even sending this piece of junk back or doing further business with Amazon if they promote such crap.

Never buy this product. I received it on March 16, 2011. It worked well in the first three days, but now it stopped working (I do not know whether the bulb is out or something else is wrong). The product was delivered with durable packaging, and obviously not in the best of shapes. You'll have to deal with attaching the "foot" of the lamp to the attachment, and it took me about a minute to do. The light is great, very bright and eye-pleasing.Customer Review: Main source

I needed a study lamp so I bought this for $35. I've had it for 9 months and it's served me well. My room's dark and my other lamps are rubbish so I also use this as my main light source, since I'm at my desk most of the time, anyway.
