Tools and Hardware Reviews of Grout Grabber GG002 Replacement BladesCustomer Review: Grout grabber works and it's inexpensive Summary: 5 Stars
The Grout Grabber is the best tool I have found for replacing tiles. I had tried Dremel bits, masonry saws, hand operated carbide blades, RotoZip bits... they didn't work and were a terrible mess and expensive. But the Grout Grabber is just basically an extension of your reciprocating saw. I put two blades together and it immediately starting eating away at the 1/4 inch grout. And the residue just sits were it was waiting to be vacuumed up later. Circular saws and drill bits sling the stuff all over the room.
Description of Grout Grabber GG002 Replacement BladesGrout Gabber replaceable carbide grit-coated blades are 1/16" thick, which allows you to work with tiles that have a thin grout line. If you wish, you can add a total of 4 blades to the Grout Grabber shaft (two on each side) to cut grout lines up to 1/2" in a single pass. Wider grout lines can be cut with a second pass. It is important to choose a blade thickness less than the joint width to prevent the tool from binding in the grout line and damaging the edge of the tile. A single blade will clear grout from about 300 square feet of tile depending on how old the grout is and the type of grout used.
