Customer Review: Not Just for Doors, Windows Too! Great for Summer too! Try it and Save Money Year Round!

Twin Draft GuardI don't write too many reviews, but after reading so many similar reviews on this product, I thought I'd add a much more diverse and useful cost saving approach to this product that makes its useful all year round. While some complain that you have to adjust it to fit some lengths of doors, I find that a bonus that you can custom fit your door and/or window. I live in a house built in the 1920's and while I am in the process of having the windows replaced, this is a project that will take time. In the meantime, I purchased several of these and placed more of mine around the base of the windows when securing the latch to create a better seal since I felt a draft during he Winter and it quickly stopped that leak. I was thinking of removing it for Spring when my friend said, "why let the cool air leak out"? With that, I decided she had a point. Why run the central A/C without a better seal? They are a useful item all year round and are keeping my cooling costs down in comparison so far compared to last year by a little, but every penny counts! I also have a friend that was rooming with a smoker and it was causing her some discomfort with her allergies. Since she lost her job and couldn't afford to lose the roommate, I gave her one of mine to try and it is helping considerably keeping the fumes in the roommate's room and out of the rest of the living quarters. Yes, it has to be adjusted a little here and there, but it is a small inconvenience for health and savings. I would recommend them for the small investment and variety of uses I have come up with to use them in the past few months. I hope you find this helpful.
