Bought a set of these to see if they would clear some closet clutter. Decided steel would be a better route than the plastic ones I had seen. Just used them to hang some sweaters that were taking up a full dresser drawer. They worked great! Noticed another reviewer said they did not really clear any space but unless you're hanging snowsuits or some other very bulky item, I don't see how they couldn't work. The clothes cascade down and there really isn't much bulk at all. I'm going to purchase some more now and hang the rest of my clothes with them.Customer Review: Steel Hanger Cascaders- set of 2

After shopping for a closet solution for our too many clothes in a way too small closet, I opted for this style and type. I'm really glad I did! These work excellently and at the great Amazon price are quite the bargain!!! I have bought several more sets because they work so well. I like the fact that these are metal and not plastic although I had tried the plastic type too which is why I was a little leery of the strength and quality of these until they got here. I bought 4 of these hangers. So far they have worked great! Like someone else said, they didn't make too much of a difference when it comes to adding space in your closet so I may need to buy a few more in the future but I do have a tiny dorm closet. Anyways, I have been tempted to hang more clothes on them since you can fit more than the recommended 6 items but have been afraid that I would break it, so if anyone tries this let me know how it works out. Overall, I was pleased with my purchase, hence the 5 stars.Customer Review: Wonderful

Between myself and my boyfriend, we have three jam packed closets. I figured I would try these out - although I didn't expect a whole lot... Boy was I surprised! These work great - I only ordered 1 set (of two cascading hangers) and made almost a foot of space in one of our closets! I did hang more than the '6 items', but of course it was mostly t-shirts etc. I am sure with bulkier items it would need to stick to the '6' to be of use. I bought about 8 or 10 of these type hangers but were made out of plastic. Slowly but surely they all started snapping in a matter of a few months.
I was looking for metal hooks so they wouldnt break. I came accross these which are completely made out of metal. A little pricier than plastic, but they will not break. Extra surprise is that everything lays tighter, meaning, more closet space, neater look, clothes are not wrinkled or anything by it.
Love these. Recommend. ;-)
