I have a rose bush the deer just would not leave alone. I bought this product not only for the deer, but for my cats who seem to think that a newly mulched flower bed is their clean litterbox. It works great. I would recommend this product to anyone who has deer (or cat problems). It is very sensitive and I barely have my water turned on to it and it sprays out very far. Thanks Amazon for the great price too. I did quite a bit of price comparison before finding the best price here.Customer Review: Worked like a charm!

I had stray cats dumping on my side lawn for 2 years. I saw this item and gave it a shot. It blasted it's first cat in 5 minutes! I set it up like someone here recommended. I used Teflon joint compound to seal the hose and other connection so I never had a leak to complain about.
It nailed a few people walking up my driveway so I moved it to where people are safe from the soaking....although I thought it was funny!
I now have a poop free lawn.

We love feeding the birds that visit our garden... their happy chirping, rustle of wings, and shadows dancing across the plants is so very peaceful to enjoy while sitting in our chairs. Too bad the local felines love to watch and try to partake of the activity! The motion activated sprinkler has thwarted many an attempt by the would-be hunters. My dogs love to charge the fence to bark at the neighbor's dog. We just moved in and don't want to get off on the wrong foot...so, I bought this fun little toy. Day one, immediate results! The corner where the dogs used to frequent is now protected with a barrier of water. It went off once or twice and that was enough to learn. The other good benefit out of this is it waters my grass! This product is pretty good in that it can be set to different sensitivity. It does keep all types of animals out of my garden without harm to them - which I particularly like.
The only problem I have come across is that the top of the nozzle gets loose and starts too drip water. Tightening needs to be done often to ensure there is no wasted water.
Otherwise, awesome product.
