It goes through batteries fast, but it does work. I like the fact the sensitivity can be set in varying degrees. We put ours on a hose to try it out, and to find which spot it works most efficiently before hooking it up directly to our water supply. I think the company may find that making this product a bit more sturdier would be a good thing, even if we had to pay $5 or so extra.Customer Review: Havahart vs Scarecrow

I have 3 SCARECROWS and 1 Havahart for deer deterrent. I find the havahart to work well for my problem and it to be more controllable against tree wind movement. And less $$
I have them hooked up to an automatic sprinkler valve and set the timer to be on all night long, avoiding the accidental spraying of me, the gardener or mailperson.

I bought this in the spring after trying many other products to keep deer and groundhogs out of my garden. It is 1.5 acres and a mixture of vegetables, annuals and perennials. So far the deer damage has been minimal and I am attributing it to this product. It may be that there are less deer in my area, but I think it is because of this product.Customer Review: Happy wife.

The spray away motion activated water repellent works. It deters the deer in our area from eating flowers and garden plants.
My wife could not plant any to her favorite flowers and vegetables without the deer eating them at night. Since we started using the spray away her flowers and garden plants are flourishing. She is one happy woman.

Bought the motion sprinkler to keep deer and rabbits out of my vegetable garden. So far, so good. Has chased out our dog and cat as well. Had to play with the sensitivity knob to keep it from continually going off. Needed to soften the ground to insert the plastic spike. Good area coverage. Kids find it fascinating!
