This wireless door chime offers rich sound and appealing style. Features a white finish cover with a modern design for added appeal.If you need a doorbell but are a little nervous about doing your own wiring, then wireless is the way to go. With Heath Zenith's wireless doorbell systems, all you need to do is mount the doorbell and the chime-no electrical installation is needed.
With the SL-6142-C, you get two push buttons so you can put one on the front and back doors. The chime is programmed with three different tunes: one- and two- note chimes and an eight-note Westminster chime(on selected chimes). You can select from 128 code settings (which allow the doorbell to communicate with the chime) to make sure your neighbor's wireless systems don't set of your chime.
The batteries for the push buttons are included, along with all the mounting hardware you'll need. Note that you will have to supply three D batteries for the chime.--Josh Dettweiler
