Adjusts from shade levels 9-13 Light shade is 4 (when helmet is not darkened) Variable sensitivity adjustment Fully automatic - Solar Cells - NO BATTERY CHANGE REQUIRED Automatically turns on and off - no need to turn on your helmet before use Viewing area is 3.86" x 1.69" This helmet has two knobs on the outside. One is for dark shade...the other for sensitivity On the inside of the helmet on the back of lens there is also two settings. Choose your mode for either welding or grinding with one switch. The other switch if for delay time Head band is fully adjustable with a turn of the back knob. Has a nice micro-fibre (soft suede like feel) forehead strap.
