These shelving units are absolute crap. I too cut myself putting them together and they dont stay together well. I cannot believe they would try to sell something this poorly constructed. I sent mine back.

I bought two of these shelve units a few eeks ago. I was a little apprehensive with some of the reviews of the sharp edges. Although there were sharp edges, I was never close to cutting myself. What was the problem was the thin material used and the difficulty in assembling some of the thinner tabs. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy some better quality shelves...you will be happy later.
I would have returned these but the hassle would have been too much for the benefit. I'm latching them to the wall to make sure they don't fall over.

I was very disappointed assembling this product. If I had read the reviews before I bought it, it would have saved me a lot of trouble. My hands got cut up when assembling this. I bought three units and couldnt put a second level up one one of them when assembling them vertically. They are very wobbly and fit together poorly. I should have gone to Home Depot and purchased metal shelves. This is made of cheap aluminum and it looks cheap, too. I put it up next the the metal shelves I purchased from Home Deport, and they are much better than this one. This one looks like it may fall apart by bumping into it.Customer Review: Junk

These shelves are terrible. I've seen aluminum house siding that is stronger than this "steel". This stuff would bend if you looked at it too long. And,as reported by another reviewer here, it's almost impossible to keep from getting cut. I put a gash in my hand and another in my foot (and I'm no stranger to using tools, following instructions and putting things together). Do not buy these shelves. You will be very sorry.
