I bought this for a total of $2.00. I needed something for an 1.5 hour ride. Since I already have an amazing book light at home I figured this would be fine to get me through the evening. Oh man was I wrong.
We bought it and it was broken. My Father-in-law through some aluminum foil in the battery compartment so that it would make a connection. (The connector piece must have broken off.) So, YAY that worked.
We started off. It was working great. If I clip it to the side it lit up the entire book. About 6 minutes into our ride the light started getting smaller and smaller until the only thing left was enough light to light one word at a time. I had to hold it over the words I wanted to read. It was so frustrating.
Not to mention the light will not go on unless you open it to pop out of it's folded up area. The open button was sort of broken and stuck down so we had to pry it open a bit.
All it all I probably should have saved my two dollars. I was so disappointed. It was between either this one or two others that were $5 and $6. I was kicking myself by the time the light diminished.
Oops, I forgot to mention if you clip it to the top of the book it doesn't even light any of the page. It just lights the base of the light.
