Holmz-Selfix 04430201.04 Slip-On Portable Shower I have been looking everywhere for a portable hand held shower head that I can put over the tub faucet spout to help with bathing my dog. This was about all that I could find. Unfortunately, my tub faucet spout is square and too wide for the attachment to fit over it. I'm sure it would work well with a rounded faucet spout. The first thing I noticed is the note that it is NOT suitable for tub spouts that have a lift pin to engage the shower. Many tubs have this lift pin (along with mine) and I wish it would have been stated up front. The total length of the apparatus is 5'-6" and the actual shower head part looks VERY cheap. The hose and spout attachment are of better quality. Included is a suction cup attachment for the wall to mount the shower head onto. I tried using the shower head on my bathroom sink faucet spout for washing hair and it leaked water all over the counter (that spout is also squared). So I would definately say a rounded spout is REQUIRED. As for my overall opinion - CHEAP! What can I say - it's made in China.Customer Review: Not worth your money

First off, let me say that I do not have a pin on the tub faucet, so that is not an issue. Intially, I was pleased with the construction of this product. It looks pretty heavy duty and like it will withstand years of use. However, short of MacGyver-ing (which I opted not to do), the attachment spout, it would not stay on the tub faucet. Any fluctuation in water pressure had this thing sliding off the spout, spraying water everywhere. It simply would not stay on the tub spout unless the water was turned off. It simply cannot deal with any real water pressure. So, unless I'd like to wash my dog in cold water at a trickle, it won't work for me. I am highly disappointed and this is probably the biggest waste of $20 I've ever spent. I am highly disappointed. Save your self some heartache and buy a hand-held shower head which can do the same thing as this is advertised to do.Customer Review: Unfortunately the best option available.

I understood others' complaints about how you can't use this fixture on a tub spout with a pin or an odd shape. I made sure mine was fine. I planned to use this for bathing my baby. The one thing I didn't count on... you cannot, absolutely cannot, use this thing at any more than half regular water pressure. It will simply pop off, even though it seems to be on quite tight. Unfortunately my bathtub only has one knob for the water - you have to turn it all the way on and then twist it to the temperature you want. So the only way to lower the amount of water coming out is to have ice cold water. Which isn't good for anything.
Also, the product itself is just made of very cheap, flimsy material. The price is pretty cheap so that's what I expected.
I wish there was something better than this to be found, but so far it looks like this is it.

I moved into an apartment that only has a bath spout. The plumbing work has not been done for a shower and the landlord is unwilling to do anything. My bath spout does not have a pin, so this item was a great choice. The rubber casing fits snugly over the spout. The only problem I have noticed is that it is unable to handle much water pressure. If the water is turned up very much, the rubber casing will be pushed off. However, the low amount of water filtered through this is adequate to shower. Luckily, I am shorter, because the hose is not too long and barely stretches above my head to the wall mount. The wall mount provided with this is also a good product. It holds the piece in place and keeps it from rotating all around. I think it is a great fix for the price!Customer Review: Excellent product

My bathroom only has a bath--no shower head. You press this onto your bathtub nozzle and it turns your tub into a personal shower spray or (as I use it) as a shower. You can slip it off if you want a bath, no glue or anything. Just rubber that grips your bath nozzle.
Had another slip-on portable shower and it didn't work well at all. If the pressure was turned up even a little, the shower grip would fly off of the nozzle.
But this product is excellent! No slippage whatsoever, grips much much much better. It's never slipped off once. Plus, it has a nice wall attachment that keeps the shower head above your head, and it slips off nicely for use as a personal shower spray.
Excellent product.
