Poorly designed, and ultimately useless. The section that is supposed to "fit" over the faucet is made of a hard thick material rather than a rubberized funnel that can fit tightly enough around the faucet... Instead, no matter how you twist and turn and try to get it to cover the faucet, the end result is always water spout every which way except through the shower head! Its truly one of the worst designed products Ive seen... And I'm not saying this because my faucet had a shower mechanism on it, etc -- I have just your average bathtub faucet that my old rubber hand held shower attachment worked fine on... this one cost double the amount and doesnt work.Customer Review: Overpriced and useless for me

I found this exact product at Fred Meyer (I did NOT purchase it via Amazon) for $9.99. As others have stated, the rubber "slip-on" is not very soft and water ends up gushing out around the spout instead of being directed into the actual hose. I returned it the next day. You CAN purchase different sized slip-on ends from the manufacturer (as noted on the back of the package), but who's to say they will work any better? This is an item best purchased in a conventional store so you can return it if it doesn't fit. Otherwise, if you're one of the lucky ones that it happens to work with, then I'm sure you'll be very happy!Customer Review: Why not just say so in the description?

Right on the back it says "This product is not suitable for tub spouts equipped with a lift pin for a shower."
Had the description been included online then what is prominently listed on the back would have advised me not to buy this. I'm sure it'll work fine otherwise; it seems appropriately sturdy. But it knows what kinds of faucets it won't fit yet you don't find out until it's in your hands. Not sure whose fault that is but be warned now. Tubs with pins for turning on the shower will not work with this product, by their own design.
Customer Review: Cannot use if spout has pull-knob for shower

This would work GREAT if only I didn't have a tub spout with the standard shower pull-knob (the knob you pull to divert water from spout to regular showerhead). Mine, like most, is located on top of the spout, which prevents the "slip on" sleeve from getting high enough on the spout for a good seal.
From what I can tell, this product would require a SMOOTH TUB SPOUT with an in-wall (or other knob-less style) of switch to divert water.
Once paired with a compatible tub spout, it seems like this product would be GREAT!

If you have a faucet where you have to keep turning the water on higher to get warm water this will likely NOT work for you unless you want cold water. The pressure gets to be too much and it pushes it off, but not before water goes flying everywhere. I'm so disappointed. All I want is to be able to wash my hair in the tub. Is that too much to ask for??? I'll keep the thing because at least I can (gently) rinse the tub out with it as long as it's cold water.
