I bought it to mount inside the bed of my Avalanche. It's great for valuables and handgun(s). I mounted it just under the drip-rail near the tail-gate so it is easy to access, but doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Works great.Customer Review: NICE STORAGE BOX

This small safe is very cheaply made and does not sit upright on a shelf; it must lay flat (unlike the photo). It works, but I agree with others why do not trust the construction and/or the safety of a firearm locked inside.Customer Review: Difficult at first

I purchased this product for storage of my Glock 23. I had trouble reprogramming it for my own code. Once I figured that out it's been smooth sailing every since. It seems nice ands sturdy and it's easy to hide or mount.
