This is a nice little wall safe. First, the price is right. Second, it is nice quality with sturdy construction. Comes with two tubular keys. The key to this safe I think is concealment. If you did not know it was there then it has done its job. If a thief wanted in, it would be no problem with a prybar. I use it to store a handgun. I have mounted it in a closet wall hidden by a pile of clothes. Installation took about ten minutes. Used a utility knife to cut the dry wall and drilled six screws into the studs from the inside of the safe then also some long screws into the studs from the outside of the safe into the four holes that can be seen from the front. The safe sits flush against the wall and looks good after installation. Actually kind of looks like a utility box from the outside. It would be flat enough to hang a picture in front of it if you wanted to. I plan on buying a couple more for additional storage around the house.Customer Review: WAll safe

Good for the price. This safe is not sold as a high-security bank vault, and that is not what you're getting. What you do get is an inexpensive, well-hidden safety box for valuables. The key lock, as I said, is not impenetrable, as neither is the door, but the cost stands for the product. If no one knows it's there, it can't be broken into. I simply hid mine behind a picture, and it was hidden beautifully. It was fairly simple to install, though the hardware supplied with it was inadequate because of the type of construction, so I needed to replace the mounting screws. All in all though, it's a great deal for the money, so long as you aren't wanting an elaborate combination lock or a place to store The Hope Diamond.Customer Review: Easy install, good for the money

I purchased this to keep passports and other documents safe in my house. I found the installation to be fairly easy, even for an office worker. The safe has pretty good space inside, considering it has to fit between two studs. My only concern is that I either have to keep the keys with me at all times, or find another way to secure them so an intruder couldn't access the keys and open the safe.
After I purchased this I saw some combination safes that would address the key issue, but the cost jump was prohibitive for me, so I'll just find ways to hide or secure the keys for this safe and appreciate the security it provides.

You get what you pay for. This is actually a pretty good wall lock box for the price. Sure, if you had tools you could probably bust it open without the key. But it would take a little time and make noise so it might be enough to stop a burglar... and it will definitely stop your kids!
Easy to install - if you know what you're doing. Make sure you don't try to put it in a location where wires or pipes are in the wall. Just find two studs, and cut out in between them. Bolt it from the inside, that's the only real security bolts. The outer screws are just for stability and looks.

very ez to install. came w/ extra bolts to srew in studs. either face mount them, or for more security, screw from the inside . 2 keys. very sturdy box. install time for 1st one 20 min.....2nd one was 10 min......i bought one for each of my 2 teens who have had other friends get their money stolen by "friends" who come over for visits. hid in closet studs behind clothes. 16" on center perfectly. they could have included a template, but i just traced the back onto cardboard and transferred. a GREAT value for the low $$$$.
