This is not going to stop a burglar with five minutes and a few basic hand tools, but is a good inexpensive way to keep firearms, etc. away from children and other visitors. The hinge is on the outside of the door, and would be pretty easy to defeat with a punch, hammer and pair of pliers. So this isn't a really high security set-up, but it's great for the purpose I mentioned.Customer Review: Great for hiding

This safe is great for hiding behind a picture or artwork on your wall. Perfect if you have kids and do not want them to be in danger or asking about what is in that safe you have under the bed or in the closet. My sutds ending up being 19" centers so tilted the safe upright (so the door swings top to bottom) and used a metal bit to drill my own holes along the one side. It works great. Couldnt be happier with the size and weight. You cant fit too much in there but it does the trick. Would buy another.

The safe arrived with no problems and as advertised. The safe is ideal for keeping things safe from kids but would be easily defeated with a few simple tools. The advantage is it can be hidden in the wall and covered with a picture which i think is it's best defense. All in all a nice product for the money.Customer Review: easy install, good quality

This product installs easily, is well packaged, and practical for its displayed use. It will keep a handgun out of the hands of someone who you don't want to get it (children, burglars, houseguests, etc). While it is not necessarily a "high-security safe", it does what it is made to do, at an inexpensive cost.
