Customer Review: An ideal little fan

I bought this fan because my office is chronically stuffy with insufficient air circulation in the summer. I put it on the credenza behind my desk and have it blow on my back. The low speed is usually enough and does not blow papers all over. It has fairly quiet operation, so that is a plus. It will not be distracting on the high speed. It's great for coming back into the office on a hot day when you are a bit overheated and need some extra cooling to get you back to normal. Go getchya one!Customer Review: Great Little Fan

I bought this fan back in 1996, my first year in college. I needed something inexpensive to move air because I slept on the top bunk in my dorm room and the heat just stagnated up there. I actually suspended it from some pipes that went overhead through the room and it blew from my head toward my feet. I still have this fan and it's still quiet and works excellent. I'm surprised they still make the exact same fan. Now that I know, I'm thinking about buying several more.Customer Review: Not much of an air mover.

I purchased the Honeywell to replace this fan. This fan only has 2 speeds, the Honeywell has 3. This Duracraft fan just didn't have the output that the Honeywell has. The Duracraft does not have an adjustable pivot either; it is fixed in a stationary position, with an adjustable lever on the bottom, but only a few degrees of tilting is allowed. The Honeywell, on the other hand, can be pointed straight up for use as an air circulator. Go with the Honeywell.Customer Review: It's a Desktop Fan

It's a small fan that sits on your desktop / nightstand. It works. My only beefs are two:
1. It only has 2 speeds. It'd be nice if it had a continuously variable speed.
2. It does not pivot up or down. So on my nightstand, I have to prop up the back end so that the fan points lower.
But it's cheap and does the trick. Worth the money, but not worth more money.

I purchased this for my desk, and I've been pleasantly surprised by it. It's just the right size. This is the first fan of this size I've bought, so I can't really compare to another similar one, but I think the airflow is pretty good.
The actual fan doesn't really look like it does in the picture though. The finish is more of a flat gray. No biggie, just FYI.
