Tools and Hardware Reviews of Enviracaire E10 Digital Humidity/Temperature IndicatorCustomer Review: OK, but not very accurate Summary: 3 Stars
Seems to read temperature about 3 degrees low and humidity about 5% to 12% low. It gets worse as humidity increases. No big deal I guess. Worth the money.
Update: Seems to be more accurate now that it has been running for a few months. The humidity now matches the display on my Honeywell humidifier within a percent or two over a wide range of tempertures. Don't know if anyone else has noticed the same improvement, but I recommend giving it time. I wish I could give a star back.
Customer Review: Does the job Summary: 4 Stars
I bought two to keep in different areas but first I put them together in different spots within the house for comparison and 'calibration.' The humidity usually ranged within 1-2 steps of each other and never more than 3 from each other. Since I'm looking for 5% humidity ranges, that's within my tolerance. Temp is usually the same or one off, never seen more than a two degree difference. Now one in bedroom and other in basement.
Customer Review: Gives Temp and Relative Humidity Summary: 5 Stars
Does what I need it to do which is to tell me if the humidity is too high for storing items and for dust mites, mold, etc
I have a dehumidifier and it seems to be lowering the humidity. I have several appliances that give the temp and they are all a few degrees apart.... So I can't be sure, but I can get the general idea.
This item does tell me whether the humidity has increased or decreased, which is what I needed.
Customer Review: Aweful! Summary: 1 Stars
I curse the day I bought this thing.
Accuracy? Nope.
Well, close enough, so I keep it.
YOU HAVE TO GLUE THIS #$@&! THING DOWN or you will be constantly knocking it over and setting it up right.
A breeze, bump the table, or look at it wrong and it falls over. Grrrrrraaaaaaah!!!
I smashed mine. Now, I'm shopping for a replacement.
Customer Review: Humidity gauge isn't accurate Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this to gauge the humidity in my office at work. It's reading 15% humidity right now which is totally wrong. We have 2 different gauges at home that do work so I brought one in today and it's really 47% humidity. Don't buy this if you're interested in the humidity reading. The temperature gauge works fine but that wasn't what I bought it for so it's basically junk to me.
