This safe isnt going to stop James Bond from getting to your plans for world domination but if properly mounted to a cabinet or shelf it's plenty sturdy enough to foil a grab-and-dash thug or keep your handguns out of the hands of children. If quick access is a concern (one never knows when evil ninjas will attack) the override key is a snap. Otherwise the code and entry key is quick and straight forward.
One cubic foot is roomy enough to secure Grandma's priceless tea set while you are on vacation and the removeable shelf is very handy.
If you dabble in diamonds this isnt the safe for you but if you want 500 dollars worth of peace of mind for 100 bucks, you got it.

The Honeywell 2072 Anti-Theft Safe is perfect for securing your valuables and personal items. The safe features welded steel construction, dual lock access, pry-resistant concealed hinges, and 2 live door bolts. This 1.00 cubic foot safe includes a removable shelf to help maximize space and organize your belongings. The safe's electronic keypad lock allows users to program a personal 3 to 8 digit passcode. The digital lock is designed to be used in conjunction with the entry key: the entry key operates the safe¿s live bolts after the passcode is entered into the digital lock. The entry key can be left in the keyhole using only the digital lock to secure the door, or it can be removed for an extra level of security. Two entry keys included. Also included is an emergency override key which can be used to bypass the digital passcode and open the safe in case of battery failure (4 AA batteries Included). The safe includes a protective floor mat and mounting hardware for bolting to the floor, shelf or wall. Digital Keypad with Reprogrammable Combination
Featuring a dual digital and key lock, the Honeywell 2072 Safe is simple to set up and operate. Once you install the four included "AA" batteries, you'll be able to program the safe to open using any three-to-eight-digit passcode that you want. For added security after programming, opening the safe requires you to enter the code and insert one of the two traditional keys included with the safe. Red, yellow, and green LED lights guide you through the process.
The safe is designed to lock-out the keypad if the wrong passcode is entered multiple times. A single override key that will open the safe without use of the passcode is also included, and use of this key is not affected by lock-out, so you're ensured access to your valuables even if you forget your code or the batteries in the keypad run out.
