I bought this for my daughter who was keeping her important documents in a envelope. I've had one for years and like the fact that it is fireproof and has sturdy construction with a decent lock.
Description of Honeywell 3031 Deluxe Locking Steel Box
The Honeywell deluxe locking steel box is a multi-purpose lockbox which can be used to store cash or other valuables. The box has a double steel wall construction with fire retardant insulation that gives a measure of protection against fire. Included with the lockbox are 2 keys used for opening the box and a convenient carrying handle for portability. The interior measures 7 1/2 in. long, 11 3/4 in. wide and 3 1/4 in. high.
