Tools and Hardware Reviews of Honeywell Fresh Breeze Tower Fan with Remote Control

Customer Review: Perfect solution for warm summer nights
Summary: 5 Stars

I would prefer a ceiling fan in my bedroom, however i have radiant heat in my cieling the cost to
disable this although not prohibitive is expensive. This past summer we purchased the 047B honeywell
from Home Depot which is the same fan without the chrome trim. The fan performs well is reasonably quiet
at all speeds and was perfect solution for my problem. When this model came on sale at Amazon this fall
I tried to buy another one locally for my living area they were all closed out for the winter.
I purchased this fan which is 048B Honeywell from Amazon. Both fans are performing well only time
will determine reliability.

Customer Review: Cheap Air Conditioning
Summary: 5 Stars

I was holding off on buying ceiling fans because of the money and now I don't think I will even bother. After buying one of these and trying it out, I bought two more right away. They are that good. They push enough air to easily cool a 30X40 room. They are comparable in terms of sound and air to ceiling fans. Rotation is quiet with just a bit of noise, but I prefer to just keep them stationary. The remote control is very handy and includes an led light to help you see in the dark.

Update: 1 year of heavy use and all 4 are going strong. The filter gets dirty very quickly, so make sure you stay on top of that.

Customer Review: Good enough
Summary: 4 Stars

I was really hoping this fan would be similar to my old fan where you have 3 speeds, remote, turning options etc. It has all of that...but the remote is weird and cumbersome, it goes through 3 speeds and after the 3rd shuts off and you start all over haha. I wish it would just stay on and let me switch from the high, mid, low. It is however VERY quiet compared to other fans. You just have the sound of the air being blown vs. other fans where you hear the choppy noise and the mechanical noises it makes. It also has some sort of thing where you can adjust the temperature but I have yet to notice any difference from that.

Customer Review: Meets requirements
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought two of these based on the reviews I had read and have used them for about two months now. We are using the optional elevated stand but not using the remote detached from the unit. As another had observed, pressing the controls on the top causes a slight wobbling of the unit but not to the point of threating to topple it. Pleasant rush of air with the noise one would expect from any accelerated air movement of like velocity without any motor hum or whirring. It seems to me that the vertical swath of air yields a more natural and evenly distributed air flow as it strikes the body. No buyers remorse here!

Customer Review: Decent fan,but not blown away.
Summary: 4 Stars

I liked the features and overall performance of the fan.The fan gives enoug breeze and air circulation if u have never used 10$ turbo fans.the traditional fans which i have been used of for 7 years,is now tough to be replaced by this fan.i am not getting that amount of air what i used to.so i want to give some time and see if i get used to this one before i return it.
the ionizer functions or not i dont know.Is there any way you feel that.if any body knows please let me know.

UPDATE:this fan is unable to satisfy my taste.the wind is not enough to keep me happy.i probably go back to my turbo fan.
