Customer Review: One more caution
Summary: 3 Stars

Yes, this unit isn't that great, but I needed a humidifier and couldn't find anything better after a long search. I have found one more problem for users: the handle on each tank is only cemented on and can separate if you carry a filled tank by the handle. When this happened to me the tank fell to the ground, broke into many pieces, and a gallon of water was on the floor. However, according to Kaz, this is NOT a warranty defect because the handle was not designed to carry a full tank of water! It should always be supported from below. A replacement tank is about $28.

Customer Review: The first that actually does its job!
Summary: 4 Stars

For health reasons, I need to humidify my apartment to 50-60% RH. In the last two months, I have bought 7 humidifiers, returning most of them because they did not do the job. I've got huge ceilings and spacious rooms. This is the first humidifier that actually did the job! In fact it over did it. Because this model does not have a built in humidistat, I woke up to a humidity level at 71%! I'm still trying to figure out how to set it right, so I don't over do it! I would recommend buying the one with the humidistat, but this one does me just fine.

Customer Review: Honeywell HCM-6011i Humidifier
Summary: 4 Stars

Overall this Humidifier is great - really is what I was looking for. The only thing I don't like about it is that the water containers do not have a flat surface on the top so when you turn them over to fill them you have to hold on to them or they will fall over. My last humidifier that this one replaced had the handles recessed so that it would sit upright to fill. That is what these containers need or maybe handles on the outside but with the handles sticking up they won't set flat. Everything else about it is just great and a very good value.

Customer Review: Can't Get It to Work
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this item and was extremely disappointed. I followed all of the directions, but when I plugged it in, I got nothing. There isn't an On/Off switch, so you have to rely on the light which in my case never illuminated. I assumed it was defective, so I gave it another try. I received the second one with the same results. It is difficult to seat the operating unit, the water tanks do not fit snuggly, and the whole thing falls apart when you attempt to seat the operating unit. Mine is going back....again.

Customer Review: Good Unit
Summary: 4 Stars

This unit has been satisfactory. Its been running for 1 month with no issues. It is quiet when it is on the "low" position. I found that if too close to a person in the room recieves a severe wind blast/draft from it and the bubbling sound can be annoying. I finally moved it into a room where we do not sit for exteneded periods. The higher the fan, the faseter the unit has to be refilled. Overall it is doing what it needs to do in our house and I am satisfied with the construction and looks of the unit.
