Tools and Hardware Reviews of Honeywell HCM-640BW QuietCare 4-Gallon Cool Moisture Humidifier 2 in 1 TowerCustomer Review: Assembly Required with Poor Construction & Directions Summary: 1 Stars
I based the purchase of this item on the Honeywell name instead a Holmes unit. That may have been a mistake. I found the produce very difficult to assemble with poor installatin directions. The foundation is erected with plastic parts that have a very flimsy appearance.
The one positive factor is the ease to fill the water tank.
Customer Review: Quiet and effective Summary: 5 Stars
Have only used for a day, but can definitely see the difference in humidity levels in the house. It is much quieter than our old Sears humidifier, but the reservoir holds much less, so will be refilling more often. Amazon was great about helping me get the free shipping after I mistakenly used "One Click" to purchase it. Thanks.
Customer Review: NOT HAPPY Summary: 1 Stars
Received item the middle of January. Already it doesn't work right. Suppose to have auto shut off if H20 runs out. Auto shut off worked-@ first--now--IT DOESN'T!!! That is just one of the problems. Others also. :-( Does ANYBODY make a product worth spending your money on anymore???
Customer Review: Great Heater! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great little heater thats really powerful and covers a lot of space for the price. Its also a more attractive unit that is discreet and will not be distracting in the room in which it is used. I was happy with its performance all around.
Customer Review: Humidifier helps the dry air! Summary: 4 Stars
The air in California is very dry. This humidifier keeps it moist in my bedroom so I feel good when I get up in the morning. It's not for a whole house, but it works for one room rather well.
