I bought this fan because I recognized the brand name and because it was black. I didn't have too many expectations. I'm happy to say it's a really great fan - a lot more power to cool than any other one I've bought - I have six. The remote, which I thought was just an add on I'd never use is actually very useful. And I like the breeze feature too. All in all, a pleasant surprise!Customer Review: great fan

Great fan for the money. Love the remote control, turn fan on/off, change speeds from across the room. Just the right amount of noise for sleeping. Only negative is that the breeze feature has a harsh start up, but not enough to be annoying. I would definitely recommend to other people. Since my mother has a Honeywell fan, similar to this one, I felt I couldn't go wrong in the purchase of the same brand. All others have not lasted but a couple years. Her's has been going for about 5 years and is still running strong. This fan puts out a good breeze and it's not overly noisy. I like the fact that it is on a stand so I can place it right in front of the window to suck the air in. The remote is a good idea. The funny thing though is that one of the settings is on the save frequency as my stereo. Hey! what can I say, It's a Honeywell fan. This is my second stand fan from Honeywell. I will never buy another. I have tried a bigger fan that I paid a lot more for with more power, and the Honeywell out preformed it by a long shot. Thumbs up all the way with Honeywell. Thanks Honeywell, don't change a thing....I'll be back!
